The role
As a Product Lead you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering products and services for IF’s diverse range of clients. You’ll lead a multidisciplinary team from discovery through to delivery, ensuring we’re creating high-value outcomes for our clients and their users. This role combines product expertise and project lead capabilities, as well as growth responsibilities for IF.
- Define project approaches, plans and activities in collaboration with the IF Partners across the work and Sarah, our Founder and CEO.
- Lead a team to design, prototype and potentially build products and services.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality.
- Design and facilitate workshops, working sessions and other relevant ceremonies to maximise learning opportunities with client and IF teams.
- Foster a team culture of creativity, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Act as the bridge between technical and non-technical team members.
- Advocate for human-centred design and trust.
- Guide our team and the client on designing for trust and product best practices, methodologies and tools, particularly around identifying risk gaps and unintended consequences of proposed solutions.
- Raise the client team’s awareness of the internal and external factors that can impact a product's success.
- Communicate effectively with all stakeholders to ensure alignment and buy-in on product direction and decisions.
As a senior member of the team, you’ll also play a role in helping us find, shape and win new projects. We largely win work through delivering other great work and talking about it when we can! With that, traditional sales experience isn’t what’s needed.
- Identify growth opportunities that align with our strengths and mission.
- Raise awareness of IF’s work and capabilities by creating case studies, writing articles, presenting at conferences and contributing to our marketing efforts.
- Support the creation of scoping briefs and project proposals.
- Assist with the upsell / continuation of client projects that you’re leading.
- Regularly share work and ideas with the internal team and the broader community to strengthen our collective expertise and positioning.
